26 Dec How to Get the Most from your Tasting Part-3
Here we are, in the final segment of this series — “How to Get the Most from your Tasting”! We began with discussing making a pre-arranged visit to the actual event venues of a handful of caterers, which should help you select the perfect fit for your taste and budget. Here are some do’s and don’ts to help you reach a precise decision whilst choosing a Caterer and the kind of dishes you wish to serve at your event!
DO Go Hungry for Your Tasting.
Whether you’re planning a Grande event or not, you should be acquiring a whiff of all types of dishes being served during your tasting all the large amount and variety of food in a short period of time. You shouldn’t quit the venue before tasting everything that is prepared. Obviously, since you’ll be too busy meeting guests, or they would be going around the room to eat at your own event. Hence, this is your only opportunity for really enjoying the food that will be served to your prestigious guests!
DO be punctual, and DON’T tag along fewer or extra Guests along on your Visit!
It is quite possible that your caterer is prepared to handle or cater to the extra number of people you have carried along with you to the Tasting. Of course, since it’s a catering business, the resources are directed to be preparing for some other event or something. So, they would have only been awaiting the arrival of any people that you had previously informed or communicated about. Not any other extra persons that joined at the last minute.
At Shagun, We would never wish to have any number of your guests you bring along, to never fully enjoy the tasting experience. Because It means serving the right amount of food at the right time and temperature.
DO Outside-the-Plate Thinking.
Remember planning a large event may take 12 – 18 months, sometimes even longer. Notwithstanding the fact that presumably all caterers on your shortlist, must have excellent reputations, and fit within your budgets. At a certain level, most caterers could deliver a stellar food experience – We all have talented chefs and culinary teams, creative and innovative menus, through which, most would be able to closely replicate a dish you’ve tasted elsewhere! Therefore, Taste and Presentation aren’t the only factors to consider before making your final selection.
Because it’s not just about the food!
We consider planning an event — a journey, a really long, sometimes stressful and exhausting journey! Do Carefully choose the people you want to take along with you for the ride.
